Michelle Lopez

Benefits Coordinator

Michelle Lopez is responsible for assessing eligibility and assisting individuals in applying for several state-sponsored benefits programs including AHCCCS, Medicare Parts A and D, SNAP (food stamps) and Cash Assistance.

Michelle holds a B.A in Global Health from Arizona State University.

Through her education, previous employment with insurance companies, and personal family experience, she has gained extensive knowledge of health insurance and federal health care plan standards and eligibility requirements.  She brings this knowledge to helping those in need obtain the health and wellness benefits they need and deserve. Michelle gains a lot of joy from helping those in need and is excited to be part of an organization that shares her values.

Abigail Brammer, J.D.

Director of Outreach Services

Abigail Brammer coordinates scheduling and delivery of ACCESSMed workshops and counseling outreach services. She develops and maintains community partnerships and supervises ACCESSMed’s volunteer educators and counselors.

Abigail holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah – S.J. Quinney College of Law and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Brigham Young University – Hawaii. During law school, she participated in the Student Bar Association, served as a legal clerk for several law firms and government entities, and worked in free legal clinics. In her free time, Abigail serves as an executive board member for the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals and loves spending time with her fiancée and their two dogs. Abigail brings a keen dedication to helping marginalized and vulnerable people to her work at ACCESSMed.

Robert Roth, Ph.D.

Executive Director

During his “second career” in the nonprofit sector, Bob has served as a consultant or corporate officer for the American Humane Association, Arizona Office of Tourism, City of Cripple Creek, CO., Coleville Confederated Tribes, Desert Stages Theatre, Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Utah Navajo Industries and (currently) the ACCESSMed Foundation.

During his current “second career” Bob has created cause marketing partnerships with several world-class for-profit partners including Walmart, Purina Pet Foods, Discovery Network’s Animal Planet Channel, canine move star Benji, First Solar and Power-One.

Prior to his second career, Bob’s first career encompassed responsibilities in the for-profit sector including Chief Operating Officer and President of the Grand Canyon Railway, V.P. Marketing for Del Webb Recreational Properties, V.P. Marketing at Radisson Hotels and Director of National Advertising for the Holiday Inns System.

Bob Roth holds degrees from Boston University and California Coast University and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
